Tammy L. (Vititoe) Callis

Life story Mrs. Tammy L. Callis, age 61, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late David and Wadena (O'Neal) Bachmann, was born on November 17, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was united in marriage to Terry "Tee" Callis on December 4, 1976 at Bedford Christian Church in Bedford, Kentucky, and they called Trimble County, Kentucky their home until 1999 when they moved to Madison. She was a medical records technician at the Madison Clinic until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of the Green Road Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, drawing, calligraphy, tole painting, golfing, swimming, and loved being around people. She was a remarkable woman, full of laughter, with many, many friends. Mrs. Callis passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Norton Hospital Brownsboro in Louisville. Her life will be cherished by her husband, Tee, of 43 years of Madison; her children: Leeann Smith and her husband, Trent, and Kyle Joseph Callis and his wife, Lindsey, both of Madison; her sister: Janet Cobb, of Madison; her brother: Terry Vititoe of Florida; her grandchildren: Lily Callis, Laney E. Smith, Maximus Callis, Aubree Callis, Timmy Schoonover, Brock Schoonover, and Alexis Schoonover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kim Marshall. Reverend Chris Chavez and Reverend Ferrill Davis will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Green Road Baptist Church, 432 Green Road, Madison, with interment to follow in Bedford I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Bedford, Kentucky. Friends and family may call at the Green Road Baptist Church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2020, and from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes or below. .
