Life story Mr. Terry Eugene Dutton, 70, of Aurora, Indiana, and son of Orlan and Vivian (Farrar) Dutton, was born May 7, 1949, in Vincennes, IN. He entered the Marines in 1968. In 1970, he was discharged to the reserves achieving the rank of Corporal and receiving the Purple Heart. He was united in matrimony to the former Diana Phelps on July 26, 2008 in Dillsboro, Indiana. He was a diesel mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on his truck and boat. He could fix anything. He loved taking care of his home in Aurora, since living there for the last two years. He was a member of the VFW in Winnimac, Indiana Democrat Party and lived for politics, CNN and enjoyed fishing. He loved his children, grandchildren and dog, Sally. Mr. Dutton passed away December 19, 2019 at Cincinnati VA Medical Center. His life will be cherished by his wife Diana of 11 years of Aurora, IN; his children: Jennifer Hannah, of Seattle, WA, Melissa Payne (Jason) of Okeana, OH, Jessica Russell (Jack) of Franklin, OH, Aundrea Duncan (JT) of Cincinnati, OH; his sister: Donna Larson, of Neva, WI; his brother: Larry Dutton, of Gary; his twelve grandchildren: Erica Harris, Preston Buchanan, Jared Cox, Aaron Cox, Dillon Emerson, Tyler Buchanan, Joey Payne, Makenzie Russell and Cole Duncan; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday December 28, 2019 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 12:00 PM until time of service. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fisher House in Cincinnati. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes or below.
