Virginia R. Woods

Life story Virginia Ruth Woods, age 75, of Madison, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born May 4, 1941 in Pineville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Ned and Sarah Asher. Mrs. Woods was a long time resident of Madison, having moved here when she was a teenager. She worked as a cook in various restaurants in Madison, and retired from the dietary department of the Waters of Clifty Falls. She will be sadly missed by one son, Michael Woods of Madison; one sister, Mary Brown of Hanover; one granddaughter, Kristina Horton of Madison; two great grandsons: Aadyn and Jaxson Konkle; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters. A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 6 PM Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, 423 West Main Street, Madison.
