Vivian Ruth (Caudill) Bowling

Life story Vivian Ruth Bowling, age 86, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born July 25, 1932 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Isom and Callie (Burton) Caudill. On November 25, 1950, she was united in marriage to Sherman Bowling in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Mrs. Bowling retired after forty years of service as a sewing machine operator from the C.J. Krehbiel Printing Company in Fairfax, Ohio. She moved to Madison in June 2015 from Kentucky. She was a member of the First Church of God in Latonia, Kentucky, and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, her grandchildren, and was a former bowler. She will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Julie Bowling of Canaan, Indiana; her brother and sister-in-law, Denny and Charlie Caudill of Lake Tahoe, Nevada; two grandchildren: Christopher and Ryan Bowling; and four great grandchildren: Cameron, Corey, Keegan and Kerigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in July 2012, one sister and three brothers. The Reverend C. Gene McElroy will conduct memorial services at 7:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, on Madison's Hilltop. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
