Mr. Walter Samuel "Pete" Redwine, age 85, of Versailles, Indiana, and the son of the late Walter and Marjorie (Hall) Redwine, Sr., was born on January 8, 1936, in Muncie, Indiana. He was united in marriage to the former Carrie J. Harmon on April 9, 1962 in Muncie. Throughout the years, he was an assembler at Cochran Chair in Aurora, Indiana and worked for Redwine Brothers Construction. He was a member of the Benham United Methodist Church. Mr. Redwine passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Indiana.
His life will be cherished by his daughter: Rhonda Borders, of Deputy, Indiana; his brother: Fred Redwine; his grandchildren: David Demaree and Amanda Hiett; and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie J. Redwine who passed away on January 9, 2016; and his brother, Jim Redwine.
Reverend Jerry Brooks will conduct memorial services at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Benham United Methodist Church, 648 East County Road 650 South, Versailles, Indiana, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the Benham United Methodist Church from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday.
