William T. "Bill" Consley

Life story William T. "Bill" Consley, age 90, of Madison, Indiana, formerly of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Born May 11, 1927 in Jefferson County, Indiana, he was the son of William Wood and Virgie (Williams) Consley. He was a farmer, raising tobacco, corn, wheat and soy beans, and had dairy cattle. He previously worked for the former U.S Shoe Corp. He attended the Madison Church of the Nazarene. On September 11, 1948, he was united in marriage to the former May Risinger. He will be sadly missed by his four sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Patricia Consley and Terry and Candy Consley, all of Madison, Bob and Nancy Consley of Loogootee, Indiana, and Timothy and Joyce Consley of Versailles, Indiana; three sisters: Ruby Richmond of Milton, June Heath of Madison, and Janet Murphy of Edinburg, Indiana; two brothers: Donald Consley of Columbus, Indiana and Vernon Consley of Bedford, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife on February 7, 2003. The Reverend Mike McArter will conduct funeral services at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Wood Oakley Chapel, 37 High Street, Milton, Kentucky, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery.
