Wilma Anna Moore, age 86, of Milton, Kentucky, and the daughter of the late Lawrence and Leona (Sharp) Justice, was born on February 5, 1938. She was united in marriage to Morris Moore and they enjoyed 36 years together before his passing. Throughout her life, she was a housewife and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching old westerns on television, and spending time with her family. She was a very loving mother and was so good to her children. Mrs. Moore passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Signature Healthcare of Carrollton in Carrollton, Kentucky.
Her life will be cherished by her sons: Chuck May of Milton, and Paul Scott May and his companion, Phyllis Thacker, of Milton; her grandchildren: Tosha Lynne Adams, Adam May, Aaron May, and Tiffany Aicher; her great-grandchildren: Dakota Schatzman, Michael Schatzman, Bradley Schatzman, Brooklynne Schneider, Willow Schneider, Richard Schneider, and several others; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Moore who passed away on March 21, 2014; her son, Jeffrey Dale May who passed away on December 28, 2017; and four siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Campbellsburg Cemetery in Campbellsburg, Kentucky. Friends and family may visit at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday.
